Hi everyone!
Today I’m going to join the “Down The TBR Hole”, a meme by Lia @ Lost In A Story, checking 5 books on my TBR and trying to get rid of the ones I’m not going to read any time soon!
- Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
- Order on ascending date added.
- Take the first 5 (or 10 (or even more!) if you’re feeling adventurous) books. Of course, if you do this weekly, you start where you left off the last time.
- Read the synopses of the books
- Decide: keep it or should it go?
The Beatles: The Biography by Bob Spitz
I LOVE The Beatles and the reviews are really positive, but I don’t think I’d finish this 983 pages book, so I’m going to let it go.
Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia
This is a recently poblished YA book about a girl and her webcomic, I think, the cover is really cute and the reviews are very positive, so I’m going to keep it. And I’m probably going to ask it for Christmas!
Solitaire by Alice Oseman
This book has a lot of mixed reviews, people either hate it or love it. The main problem for the ones who gave it 2 stars is the main character who is emo (this is what I read from the reviews), since I hope that won’t be a big issue for me I’m going to keep it!
The Fangirl Life: A Guide to All the Feels and Learning How to Deal by Kathleen Smith
This is a sort of guide on how to be a fangirl and how to use obsession for real life. This seems a fun book, but I want to read more fiction books, so I’m going to let it go..
Radio Silence by Alice Oseman
This is another book by Alice Oseman, so I’m going to let it go, but if I like Solitaire I will add it again on my to-read list.
How did I go?
2 KEEP ITs 3 LET IT GOs
How many books do you have on your TBR? Have you ever tried to delete some of them?
Thank you for reading,
