Hi everyone!
Today I’m going to do the Mid Year Freak Out tag!
Ok so no one tagged me, but I found it at Wonderess Review (an amzing) blog, so let’s begin….
Best Book You’ve Read Yet in 2016
Miss Peregrine’s home for peculiar children by Ransom Riggs
So I think this is also going to be in my first 5 favorite books I ever read… It’s awesome I don’t know how, but this got me so so much from the beginning till the end!
It fuses photography with a tense book set in the second world war… PERFECTION!
Best Sequel You’ve Read So Far in 2016
The Julian Chapter by R.J. Palacio (review link)
For now I’ve only read 3 sequels and I think this is my favourite. I also reviewed it (5 stars) here…I needed this sequel and really enjoyed it!
New Realease that you want to read but haven't yet
The Memoir of ‘I’ by Yolanda de Iuliis (post about her) & Zenith by Sasha Alsberg
So for this question I have two books:
One is The Memoirs of ‘I’ by Yolanda de Iuliis I already have the book but I haven’t found the time yet. The second is Zenith by Sasha Alsberg, I admit it isn’t the type of book I’d read, but Sasha is one of my favourite booktubers so I want to buy and read it anyway!
Most Anticipated Release For the Second Half of the Year
Harry Potter and The Cursed Child by J.K. Rowling
I’M SO EXCITED FOR THIS “BOOK”. I’m a little bit afraid of it because someone has told me about some complaints… But even if it isn’t a real book, in fact it’s only a script, I’ve already pre-ordered it!
Biggest Disappointment
The Red and the Black by Stendhal
Luckily I haven’t had any big disappointment yet… I already knew the books I wasn’t going to like. But since I don’t want to leave this answer “blank” I’m going to put this book, because even if I alredy knew I wasn’t going to like it I hated it so so much you can’t imagine…
Biggest Surprise
The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan
I started this book for the half blood readalong and I wasn’t sure I was going tp like it, but in the end I really really liked it!
I double reviewed this book with Alex @ A Geek With Books!
Favourite New Author
I found lots of new authors I love! But I think Ransom Riggs wins this round thanks to the way he set The Miss Peregrine’s home for peculiar children!
Newest Fictional Crush
This year has been full of new fictional crushes, but if I have to choose I’d say… Levi from Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell (review link) and gosh this doesn’t need any explanation
Newest Favorite Character
I really don’t know… But the character I identified the most with is Elena from Kindered Spirits by Rainbow Rowell (review link). It is a short story but with great characters and story!
Book That Made You Cry
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell (review link)
So many… But I think this book made me cry the most and the surprising fact is that there isn’t a something really bad but… THE FEELS.
*I promise it is the last time I will say something about Rainbow Rowell in this post, sorry XD*
Book That Made You Happy
Wonder by R.J. Palacio (review link)
So I didn’t want to show you another Rainbow Rowell’s book, so I decided this… I loved this book it gave me a lot and I really appreciated Auggie’s point of view! *heart melting*
Favorite Book to Film Adaptation
I haven’t seen any book to film adaptation this year yet, so I think I’ll have to leave this blank… Sorry!
Most Beautiful Book You Bought This Year
The Fangirl’s guide to the galaxy by Sam Maggs
I just LOVE the cover AND the books SO SO MUCH

Great answers! Just this morning I moved Palacio’s Wonder up higher on my TBR because everybody likes it so much. So it’s a happy read?
Arvenig 25/07/2016
It is happy , but there are many episodes of bullying so it depends from which perspective you want to read it!

I’m really glad you enjoyed Miss Peregrine’s and Percy Jackson! They’re some of my favourites. I read Zenith a while ago and it was pretty good. I had a few issues with it, but I’m definitely looking forward to the next part. I really need to read a Rainbow Rowell book, haha.
Arvenig 25/07/2016
Ahaha you should! I’m really curios about Zenith, do you recommend it?
Olivia @ The Candid Cover 24/07/2016

I am so excited as well!! I started reading the series in June because I found out the film was going to be in the cinemas very soon!
Marie @ Drizzle & Hurricane Books 24/07/2016
Great answers! I really liked Kindred Spirits as well, even if it was a bit too short, it was a good story and I loved the characters! 🙂
